Do You Treat For Gypsy Moths?
The short answer is: No.
We've been referred by exterminators a number of times, but don't have any means of treating for them. According to the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation & Natural Resources, insecticde treatment of Lymantria dispar is typically done by aerial application. There are some tips available for mechanical removal, but they aren't considered as effective as aerial application. The PA DCNR website includes a list of aerial applicators with contact information.
